Probiotics Unfamiliar to Most Americans, finds survey

Digest This: Digestive Health Harder to Maintain Than Financial Health
"Between 60 and 70 million Americans experience some sort of digestive health problem. The issue may be that Americans haven't "digested" the ways in which prebiotics and probiotics could benefit them."

Truly CulturedTM is a first, a full spectrum feast on culturing. This ground breaking treasury digests and capsules the essence and mystery as well as the how-to's and benefits of our most ancient, vital and treasured foods. It looks at the world of fermentation in a new light using a wider perspective. It is a secret missing link; a key to real eating enjoyment, health and longevity.

Wake Up Call?
by Nancy Lee Bentley - Tuesday, 11 November 2008, 12:27 PM

How many of us have been "in tune" enough to predict the recent upheavals and downturns in our economy? While many of us have "known in our bones" that things had to change and have felt a strong sense that "something big" was going to be happening this fall, who knew the timing or how it would manifest?

We're all so busy, so absorbed in the pace of our hectic lives, even many of us pursuing healthy, sustainable lifestyles have become almost like little hamsters on treadmills in our cages. I'm amazed, even now watching the volume of shopping at the local mall, at how oblivious people seem to be about what is going on nationally and internationally. Regardless, it's obviously not business as usual.

Aren't recent events enough of a wake-up call for us now? Clearly, we're getting a loud and clear signal, if we care to look closely.

The writing is on the wall. How much more evidence do we need? As I've said many times, it's clearly time to Get A Round To It!

To What? To Get Together and to Get It Together Around our Food! Take back control over our bodies, our food and our health. No one is going to be taking care of us here on Main Street, except us -- and maybe the pharmaceutical companies, if you let them. So, it's own choice, but we really need to become more involved, working together to create sustainable food circle communities to assure that we have access to the most healthy, nourishing, delicious, local, whole food. So we can eat and be healthy, no matter what. This has been one of my consistent messages in my books and articles. But now, how can we continue to avoid the obvious, THE TIME IS NOW!

One in the Work,

"Because trying to define community is like trying to define the word
"love," I'm going to talk about community in mostly practical ways.
Among many things, community is a vision of the future where we conserve
and share scarce local resources rather than deplete, destroy and battle
over seemingly abundant distant resources. It is a vision where we consume
far fewer resources, but have a better life, filled with valued relationships
rather than valued possessions."
Megan Quinn Bachman, Outreach Director of Community Solutions

by Nancy Lee Bentley - Tuesday, 19 August 2008, 01:19 PM

Just want to let you know about the new, free Taste of Truly Cultured E-Book -- a hearty, power-packed mini of the full book -- that's available as one of many outstanding bonus pluses in the Tranquil Sleep Now program. launching today, August 19th.

I was so impressed with Think Right Now Mike Brescia's track record in helping people in so many lifestyle arenas,  so amazed at how effective his new sleep program is, including just how much in alignment the Truly Cultured message is with this, that I agreed to include my new E-Book as a free bonus in his amazing offer.

Here's the link to take advantage of this great program:  http://www.thinkrightnow.com/gifts/tranquilsleepnow.asp
